Summary
Snytro Receipts is designed so that your receipt files and receipt summaries are stored in your own Google account.
The app does not store your receipt files or receipt details on a Snytro-owned server.
The app does not read your Gmail, connect to your bank, use AI chat, send receipts to an AI model, or use paid cloud OCR.
Data the app handles
Snytro Receipts may handle the following data when you use the app:
- Your Google account email address when you sign in.
- Receipt images or PDF files that you photograph, upload, or attach.
- Receipt details entered or confirmed by you, including receipt date, merchant, category, amount, currency, and notes.
- Receipt IDs generated by the app.
- Google Drive folder IDs and file IDs used by the app.
- Google Sheets spreadsheet IDs used by the app.
- App settings, including default currency and financial-year settings.
- Local sync status, such as pending, synced, or failed sync.
- Purchase entitlement status for a lifetime unlock through Google Play Billing.
How the app uses data
Snytro Receipts uses data to:
- Let you sign in with a Google account.
- Create or find a Snytro receipt folder in your Google Drive.
- Create or find financial-year folders in your Google Drive.
- Upload receipt files to your Google Drive.
- Create and update Google Sheets summaries in your Google account.
- Record receipt rows in the relevant financial-year Sheet.
- Show recent receipts inside the app.
- Retry failed syncs.
- Let you open or share your Google Drive folder.
- Let you purchase or restore lifetime unlock through Google Play Billing.
Google Drive and Google Sheets
Snytro Receipts uses Google Drive and Google Sheets only with your permission.
Receipt files are uploaded to your own Google Drive.
Receipt details are written to Google Sheets in your own Google account.
You control your Google Drive files, folders, Sheets, and sharing permissions.
If you choose to share a financial-year folder with a tax agent or another person, that sharing is controlled by you through Google Drive.
Local device storage
The app may temporarily store receipt files and receipt details on your device to support review, offline use, and sync retries.
For example, a receipt photo or PDF may remain on your device until it has been uploaded to Google Drive.
The app may also store local receipt metadata, such as receipt ID, date, merchant, amount, category, notes, currency, sync status, Drive file ID, Sheet ID, and settings.
If you disconnect your Google account or uninstall the app, local app data may be removed from your device according to Android system behaviour and app settings.
Depending on your Android device settings, Android system backup or device transfer features may back up some local app data to your Google account or transfer it to another device. This is handled by Android and Google, not by a Snytro-owned server.
Text recognition and automation
Snytro Receipts is currently designed as a simple receipt organiser.
The app does not send receipt text or receipt images to an AI model, large language model, paid cloud OCR service, or Snytro-owned backend for extraction.
If the app uses on-device text recognition in the future or in a specific app version, it will be used only on the device to help suggest receipt details. Users remain responsible for checking and confirming final receipt details.
Google Play Billing
Snytro Receipts may offer a one-time lifetime unlock through Google Play Billing.
Payment processing is handled by Google Play.
Snytro Receipts does not receive or store your full payment card number.
The app may store whether lifetime access has been unlocked so that premium access can be recognised or restored.
What the app does not access
Snytro Receipts does not:
- Read your Gmail.
- Access your bank account.
- Access payroll systems.
- Access invoices from unrelated apps.
- Access your contacts.
- Access your precise location.
- Use advertising tracking.
- Use AI chat.
- Send receipts to AI models.
- Use paid cloud OCR.
- Store receipt files on a Snytro-owned server.

Security
Snytro Receipts uses Google authorization to access Google Drive and Google Sheets with your permission.
The app requests access only to the Google services needed for its receipt folder and Sheet features.
You can revoke the app's Google access from your Google Account settings.
You are responsible for keeping your device, Google account, and Google Drive sharing permissions secure.
Tax, accounting, and legal responsibility
Snytro Receipts is a receipt organisation tool.
It is not accounting software, tax lodgement software, legal advice, financial advice, or tax advice.
You are responsible for checking receipt details, keeping records required by your tax authority, and confirming information with your tax agent or adviser.
Snytro does not guarantee that a receipt, folder, Sheet, category, amount, or export will satisfy tax, accounting, audit, or legal requirements in your country.
Children
Snytro Receipts is not designed for children.
The app is not intended for use by children under 13, or the minimum digital consent age in your country if that age is higher.
International users
Snytro Receipts may be used in different countries.
Your rights may vary depending on where you live.
If privacy laws in your country give you rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal information, you may contact Snytro using the contact details below.
Because most receipt files and receipt summaries are stored in your own Google Drive and Google Sheets, you may also manage or delete that data directly through your Google account.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Snytro may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If the app changes in a way that materially affects how receipt data is accessed, used, stored, or shared, this Privacy Policy should be updated before that change is released.
The effective date at the top of this page shows when this Privacy Policy was last updated.
